The app does not detect GPS. What should I do?

On iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → OpenRank, then choose Always or While Using depending on the screen. OpenRank needs location while a trip is recording.

My trip did not record correctly.

Check that location is allowed and that a stable GPS signal is available at start. Avoid turning the screen off too early if the system aggressively suspends the app.

How do navigation and ETA work?

Turn-by-turn navigation announces directions, signals fixed cameras and shows nearby petrol stations. Arrival time is recalculated continuously from your current speed.

How do I join or create a club?

From the Clubs tab, use “+” to create a club or search to join one.

How do rankings and XP work?

Each recorded trip grants experience based on distance, duration and other criteria. XP raises your level on the global leaderboard and in your clubs.

I am not receiving notifications.

Check Settings → Notifications → OpenRank. If it persists, sign out then sign back in to refresh the notification token.

The app uses too much battery.

Higher use is normal during an active trip (continuous GPS). Outside a trip, OpenRank does not use GPS. Make sure no recording is running.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account. See also the deletion guide.
